CSIS: The United States and Central Asia after 2014

The foreign policy think tank Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) has released a report gauging the interests of US foreign policy in Central Asia after 2014. The early critique is that it is short on identifying what, exactly, US interests are in the region but the message is clear: “(the US) needs to avoid the temptation to turn its back on Central Asia.” Reaction piece forthcoming.
